College opens admission for 2026/2027 academic session

Ikirun College of Health Technology (ICHT), Ikirun, Osun State, has commenced admission into its various National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply.

The announcement was made by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Adeniyi Abdullah Adeoye, in a statement issued on Monday, June 1, 2026.

According to the statement, candidates who selected Ikirun College of Health Technology as their first-choice institution on the 2026/2027 JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and scored at least 100 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.

The institution also stated that candidates who did not initially choose the college but are willing to effect a change of institution through the JAMB CAPS portal may apply, provided they meet the minimum UTME requirements.

Available programmes for the new academic session include National Diploma in Community Health Technology, Public Health Technology, Health Education and Promotion, and Health Information Management.

Prospective students are required to visit the institution’s admission portal to complete the online application process. Applicants may also visit the admission office for assistance.

Candidates are expected to complete their personal and academic information and upload all required credentials before submitting their applications.

A non-refundable application fee of N10,000, excluding portal processing charges, is payable by all applicants.

The institution stated that successful candidates would receive admission notifications through both its admission portal and the JAMB CAPS platform. Admitted students are required to accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS to secure their placements.

On admission requirements, applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics, obtained in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examinations in not more than two sittings.

Candidates must also have participated in the UTME and attained the approved minimum score. In addition, all applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
