Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has cited Zlatan Ibrahimovic as one of the main reasons for leaving Paris Saint-Germain, claiming the Sweden striker “only cares about himself”.
Coman was once regarded as one of the Parisians’ top prospects, but moved to Juventus on a free transfer in July 2014 after finding it difficult to integrate in a squad that contained several different “clans”.
“My relationship with Ibrahimovic was completely neutral,” the France international told Bild.
“He is not the type of player to approach the younger players and give them advice. He only cares about himself.”
He added: “There were a lot of different clans in the team. It was not easy to integrate and become part of the team.
“I never felt well with the first team. The competitions for places is huge. Winning titles is all that matters.”
After only a season in Turin, during which he featured on 22 occasions, Coman was on the move again, agreeing a two-year loan deal at Bayern.
The Bundesliga leaders have an option to sign him permanently at any point, and the 19-year-old hopes they will do exactly that despite an agreement to replace Pep Guardiola with Carlo Ancelotti next summer.
“I feel very good in Munich. I currently do not see anything that could bring me to leave the club,” he said.
