A 32-year-old commercial motorcycle rider has been charged before an Ota magistrate court in Ogun State with killing a 52-year-old woman.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Rose Sampson, alleged that Emmanuel Titi caused the death of Latifat Omirinde on January 10, 2020 at about 7.30pm opposite State Hospital, Ota, by riding his Boxer motorcycle registration number TTD 411 VY on the Ota-Idiroko federal highway in a dangerous and reckless manner.

Titi pleaded not guilty to the two-count criminal charge the police levelled against him.

Magistrate B. S. Abdulsalam admitted him to N500,000 bail, with two sureties, and fixed trial for January 20, 2020.
