The flag off of APC campaign in Lagos has triggered massive traffic gridlock in Lagos metropolis with Ikeja axis badly affected.
As at the time of filing this report, all roads leading to Ikeja GRA from Ikeja Under Bridge end of Awolowo road as well as other adjoining roads like Oba Akran, Computer Village, Medical Road, Airport road are in standstill.
The tricycle operators plying GRA routes line are nowhere to be seen while hundreds of commuters are stranded.
Many passengers who have one thing or the other to do inside GRA resorted to trekking.
A middle-aged woman who said she is a civil servant told our correspondent that a traffic advisory should have been issued by authorities to allow people to plan their movements today.
