The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, has called on residents of the council to ensure they comply with the restriction of movement order  by President Muhammadu Buhari, and the FCT Minister, Muhammad Musa Bello.

Sabo, who made the call yesterday said anybody who failes to comply with the governments directive will be made to face the wrath of the law.

He noted that the restriction on movement and rule of social distancing imposed by the government were aimed at stopping the spead of the virus.

“There is a need for residents to abide by these regulations not only to protect themselves, but also to protect their families and close acquaintances from being infected with COVID- 19,” he said.

According to him, strict monitoring and enforcement by security agencies would become more stringent as the days go by. He appealed to traditional rulers to help in enlightening their subjects to abide by all rules and the Federal Government’s proclamations.
