The Igala Youth Leaders Assembly (IYLA) has announced the election of new executives, marking a new chapter in the organization’s journey to empower Igala youth and develop Igala land.

In a statement released in Lokoja, Nigeria, the outgoing Speaker, Dr. Felix Akor Ojoachele, congratulated Comrade Yahaya Izzudeen (Mr. Deen) on his overwhelming victory in the recently concluded elections, emerging as the new Speaker of the Assembly.

Dr. Ojoachele praised Comrade Izzudeen’s dedication, vision, and passion for the development of Igala land and the empowerment of Igala youth, expressing confidence that under his leadership, IYLA will continue to thrive and make a positive impact on the lives of Igala people, particularly the youth.

The new Speaker, Comrade Izzudeen, thanked the Igala youth for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work tirelessly for the development of Igala land and the empowerment of Igala youth. He promised to be a servant leader, calling on all Igala youth to join him in this journey to build a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.

Other elected executives include Comrade Khalil Adejoh as the Clerk of the Assembly, Comrade Yunisa Gambo as the Chief Whip, Victoria E Daniel as National Women Leader and others.

Dr. Ojoachele thanked the Igala youth for their support during his tenure and pledged his unwavering support to the new leadership, proud of the milestones achieved during his tenure and confident that Comrade Izzudeen will build on these achievements.

The Igala Youth Leaders Assembly (IYLA) is a prominent organization dedicated to promoting the interests and welfare of Igala youth and contributing to the development of Igala land, Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
