The recently elected Igala Youth Leaders Assembly EXCO members were officially inaugurated on the 27th of December, 2025, in a well attended ceremony that held in Anyigba Dekina LGA of Kogi Sate.

Among those who were duly inaugurated at the event are, Speaker: Yahaya Izzuddeen, Clark: Adejoh Khalil Olaikadede, National Women Leader: Madam Victoria E Daniel and Others.

During the inauguration, the speaker of IYLA, Comr. Izzuddeen Yahaya pledged to unite all the youth-base organizations of Igala extraction into a united front for the progress and development of Igala land. “As we embark on this journey, we are guided by the principles of unity, integrity, and service. We will strive to be inclusive, to listen to diverse perspectives, and to make informed decisions that benefit the greater good of the Igala race.

In the memory lane, the year 2017 Ukomu Igala Organisation under the Leadership Gen. PATRICK Akpa, the parent Body of IYLA has set a pace for this association to be a Youth wing under UIO. The mandate repose on us to hermanonise, Synergise and Unite all youths across different Association of Igala extraction is a mandate never be undermined. The task is a work in progress for actualisation and we ar getting there soonest”, the speaker stressed.
