The committees include critical ones like those on Devolution of Power and Political Restructuring and Forms of Government.
Two committees have 28 members each, 17 have 24 members each while one committee has 18 members. Each delegate is restricted to the membership of one committee only.
The secretariat did not announce names of leaders for the committees, but it is expected that this would be done by the leadership of the National Conference in line with the rules of procedure.
Members of the Devolution of Power committee are: Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Chief Gbadegesin Adedeji, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Chief Adeniyi Akintola, Dr Amadu Ali, Prof. Jubril Aminu, Asara A. Asara, Obong Victor Attah, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite, Annkio Briggs, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, Malam Magaji Danbatta, Prof. Godini Darah, Alhaji Usman Faruk, Engr Buba Galadima, Chief Dozie Ikedife, Senator Ibrahim Mantu, Dr Junaid Muhammad, Senator Ken Nnamani, Prof. A. B. C. Nwosu, Prof. Rose Onah, Anthony Sani, Dr Haruna Usman Sanusi, Senator Gbemi Saraki, Senator Jack Tilley-gyado, Prof. Nsongurua J. Udombana, Malam Tanko Yakasai and Dr Haruna Yerima.

Kure, AVM Mukhtar Mohammed, Dr Abubakar Saddique Mohammed, Prof. Isa Baba Mohammed, Air Cdre Idongesit Nkanga, General Ike Nwachukwu, Nduka Obaigbena, Dr Peter Odili, Yinka Odumakin, Mr Phillips Salawu, Amb. It was announced at previous meetings that issues to be discussed by each committee are not limited to those highlighted in the Work Plan which had been previously discussed by delegates and that other matters related to the stated subject matters should also be tackled.
It would be recalled that each delegates was given opportunity to choose three committees he or she would want to serve. From the three, the presiding officers were to decide, based on consideration of equal representation and expertise, which of the committees the delegate fits in.
Other committees include those on National Security; Environment; Politics and Governance; Law, Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Reform; Social Sector; Transportation; and Science, Technology and Development.
There are also committees on Agriculture; Civil Society, Labour and Sports; Public Service; Political Parties and Electoral Matters; Foreign Policy and Diaspora Matters; Land Tenure and National Boundaries; and Economy, Trade and Investment.
The others are committees on Energy; Religion; Public Finance and Revenue; and the Committee on Immigration and Related Matters.
