He added that some vehicles coming from the opposite axis of Nyanya ran over the corpse, thereby making it difficult for it to be identified.

The spokeswoman of the FCT police command, DSP Adeh Josephine, confirmed the discovery of two corpses but said it was a hit-and-run motor/motorcycle accident.

She said a preliminary investigation by the police command revealed that two lifeless bodies of a male and female were discovered by the police.

According to her, operatives of the Asokoro division, upon receipt of the information as relayed by the command control room from a good Samaritan, drafted to the scene to remove the body to the hospital where it was confirmed dead and subsequently deposited at the Asokoro mortuary.

She said the investigation has been intensified to apprehend the perpetrators, while contact has been established with the family of the deceased.
