Constituents of Wase Federal Constituency of Plateau State have expressed readiness to purchase expression of interest and nomination forms for the former deputy speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase, ahead of the 2027 elections.
The movement under the aegis of ‘Wase Equity Project’ stated that it was a consensus among the constituents to encourage Wase to continue representing the constituency.
Publicity Secretary of the project, Mohammed Abubakar Badu, said the decision was taken in consultation with community leaders, professionals, business men and women , youth advocates and farmers alike from across the Wase Federal Constituency.
He pointed out that the people of Wase view the Wase’s re-election as a democratic gain and a safeguard for the stability of the dividends of democracy, adding that they are protecting a vision of progress, opportunity, and privilege for our children
The former chairman of Wase local government said the contribution serves as a collective appreciation from the people of Wase for his representation so far.
“It is a clear message that his people are not only satisfied with his performance but are demanding that he seeks re-election to continue his transformative work in the Green Chamber.
“There have been several life-changing interventions facilitated by the lawmaker, which have turned Wase into a hub of development within the North-Central geopolitical zone,” Badu stated.
