‘Construction of Apapa-Oshodi expressway to be completed by end 2020’

The Group President/Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), Aliko Dangote, yesterday assured that construction of the entire Oshodi-Apapa expressway will be  completed before the end of year 2020.

Dangote stated this when he took the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, on an inspection tour of the 35-kilometre Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonsoki-Ojota highway being constructed by DIL

Explaining the urgency of completing the project, Dangote disclosed that the gridlock on the road had cost the Dangote Group itself about N25 billion in revenue between 2017 and 2019.

Fashola expressed, during the inspection, federal government’s dedication to the speedy completion of the highway to provide a lasting solution to the problems of bad roads and gridlocks.
