The Managing Director of Atlantic Exhibition, Ayodeji Olugbade gave the advice while addressing journalists at a press briefing in Lagos.
According to Olugbade, the construction industry is one that witnesses lots of dynamism on daily basis and that makes it an attractive one.
He said to be relevant in the industry, stakeholders must always enhance their knowledge base from time to time.
Olugbade noted that it is in that regard that Atlantic Exhibition will be organising Buildmacex 2014, an international exhibition for construction stakeholders in Lagos.
“The Buildmacex Nigeria 2014 is a building construction and machinery exhibition powered to pioneer the building sector in Nigeria.
“Atlantic Exhibition will be hosting the event in collaboration with Meridyen International Fair Organisation which is already endorsed by the Ministry of Economy, Republic of Turkey.
“Because we believe so much in providing qualitative platforms for our people to tap into, participants will be allowed to meet with manufacturers and distributors in these industries.
“Distinguished speakers will also be speaking on building business bridges while building Nigeria. This we hope we further broaden participants’ horizon,” Olugbade said.
In his remark, President, Association of Building and Construction Artisans of Nigeria, Prince Jimi Ade Osunubi, said the gathering will no doubt offer a constructive platform for real and genuine manufacturers as well as artisans, to come to the front burner with their products, ideas and knowledge on how best to move the industry forward in Nigeria.
