Siraj Consulting Engineers, the firm handling the provision of computerized lands management system called Nasarawa Geographic Information Service (NAGIS), in the third quarter of the year, picked up the job to provide a complex to house the GIS service in Lafia, after completing an operational complex in Mararaba, the state’s thickly populated town on the fringe of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
 The Mararaba complex which is a hub of all lands information will be seen at the headquarters’ complex through a computerized system.
 A&K Construction, the same contractor that handled the remodeling of the Mararaba office is handling the construction work.
 The building is in the final stage of completion, said Agassi while conducting this reporter on the site.
NDP is an initiation of Siraj Consulting Engineers, Aeroprecisa Limited, and GIS Transport, and Nasarawa State Ministry of Lands, on which shoulders have been added Urban Development – partners in the totality of the habitat project called NAGIS which execution is expected to phase out slums, and in their place, build liveable and sustainable cities in the state.
 The ongoing project to provide a structure to house NAGIS in Lafia, is designed as the headquarters of the GIS system, while the complex in Mararaba will serve as the main hub to stream in all components of the habitat project.
Agassi told Daily Trust that the construction was designed to be delivered in a short time, to complete the execution of a project which he described as “close to the governor’s heart.” Project manager of NAGIS, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril said when completed, the centre in Mararaba which will serve as a hub, will have all of the computers at the state Ministry of Lands as well as the NAGIS headquarters seen in Lafia and in Mararaba.
