Controversy over Gen Useni’s shop sale

The shop is one of the properties of the retired general domiciled in the popular Garki Model Market, Abuja.
In a suit filed at the FCT High Court, the plaintiff,   Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya claimed that the 1st defendant, General Useni   who is  the original owner of a shop located in  Garki Model Market,  sold it to him at the rate of 3 million naira.
He said all the documents that are required to be given for the shop purchase were giaven, but when it was the time for him to take possession, one Daniel Dul who claimed to be the general`s relative claimed that the shop has been given to him by the general as a “gift” thereby denying him the right of possession.
Joined in the case as defendants are Austine Nwaknwo and  Daniel Dul who were said to carry out business at the shop in contention. The 3rd defendant, Segun Salami is the manager and caretaker of the property.
Narrating his story to Daily Trust, the plaintiff, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya said that he bought the shop for his wife Hajiya Ganiyat Mojisola  Abduillahi with a loan he secured  from a micro finance bank.
The case has been adjourned to October 9, 2014 for further hearing.
