The sounds of war drums had just started permeating the air, with Biafra, under the former rebel leader, Emeka Ojukwu, out to secede from the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Afterwards, the Igbo surrendered, “no victor, no vanquished” as it were. Later on, Ojukwu was pardoned by the late former President of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari.

Invariably, this Nigeria, many believe, is one of the geographical expressions that arose out of the scramble for Africa, “the dark continent”. In 2014, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, whom the Igbos idolise, made a speech to his cabinet and said, in part, “Let us all accept that the Blackman is a symbol of poverty, laziness and emotional incompetence. …That therefore, the Whiteman is created to rule the Blackman….The average black does not plan his life beyond a year.”

Of course, I do not accept this racist and arrogant remark. Towards this end, I made some comments on Netanyahu, in my article published by the Daily Trust of Monday, March 16th, 2020. If you ask Netanyahu, why do you have only a few Jews with over 50 Billion US Dollars and other categories of billionaires and millionaires, while over 5 million Jews or 80% have miserable net worth, earning incomes of US Dollars 50,000 and below per annum? Aren’t those less fortunate Jews also “symbols of poverty, laziness and emotional incompetence” relative to the less than 10% billionaires and millionaires among them?  Do they have the same Faith in the God of Israel?

These few statements have relations with Western imperialism and coronavirus. In the US, the figures show that 75% of COVID-19 victims are black. The mainstream media is awash with dark prophesies about the expected devastating effects of COVID-19 in Africa.

Here, therefore, goes “take in cover”. In 1967, the movement of troops to “Biafra” was highly visible and active, and we witnessed it, because of the topography whereby one could see the troop’s mobilisation as they moved up hill from our College. To compound our fears, the Biafra radio was broadcasting that they had captured Government College Keffi.

Again, to add to our compounded fears, we the immature junior boys were being drilled at the soccer fields on how to “take in cover” in the event bombs were dropped by Biafra!!!

The sergeant would assemble us to prepare us against this eventuality. There was a mock demonstration for us in the college soccer fields creating a possible scenario of planes dropping bombs. The sergeant would blow the whistle and we ran and when he shouted “take in cover,” that was a warning against exploding bombs and we dived as one would do in a swimming pool.

It is this scenario that appears to me like the coronavirus pandemic. It has come and the next thing is for all to “take in cover”, especially in Africa and the developing world.

A “global nightmare”; that’s how an NTA newscaster described it. The death rate in the USA, Italy, Spain France, Iran, and Germany is alarming, and the high and mighty across the world are reported to be COVID-19 positive. These include Boris Johnson of the UK, Prince Charles of the UK, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister and many others, in the so-called “wealthiest” and “technologically” advanced countries of the globe.

Those who bomb poor countries and later send “aid” then show dying men, children, and women in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Afghanistan and Africa etc. are now dying like they never imagined! The so-called “super races” are being proved wrong by the Almighty God that they claim is “Dead”. The imperialists who contrive endless wars, killing the poor, are now locked in their miserable flats afraid to die.

Now that the “global nightmare” has arrived, like the bombs, we have to “take in cover”. The global disaster never seen in decades has encircled the world, with China being the first to experience its devastating effect. The Chinese city of Wuhan first reported its case with thousands of deaths. From there, it spread to other parts of the world, we are told. This disaster, coming after the trade war, in the sort of childish manner exhibited by especially “civilised Trump” between China and the USA and the muscle flexing, on who leads in the 5G technology should not be put aside.

I watched a German commentator in DW accepting that China has an edge over the US in 5G, so why should the US bully them into abandoning the benefits of China innovations? Other Europeans are cautious not to be misled by Trump. The Russian Sputnik in the moon expedition, in the 60’s, caught “America first” napping.

Trump made a speech saying COVID-19 was a “Chinese virus”. The Chinese hit back and accused US- CIA and the US army of exporting the virus to China. That a monkey looks like man cannot be ruled out. But behind closed doors, China knows the dangers of the US desire for a “zero sum game” in its “America first” agenda.

Now “God’s own” country leads the world with 4,080 dead, arising from coronavirus and about 190,000 infected, as at April 1st, 2020. It is not an April fool figure but for real. The pandemic is overreaching Europe, with Italy and Spain recording thousands of lost lives.

In Nigeria, a record of 11 deaths has occurred and President Buhari has given orders for the lockdown of FCT Abuja, along with Lagos and Ogun States. Many other southern states are recording deaths, and the Centre for Disease Control is searching for over 5,000 people, who slipped into thin air with the infectious COVID 19. By now we should be searching for 10 times the number. Coronavirus is real. Big names like Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to the President, and Governors of Kaduna, Oyo and Bauchi  States have also tested positive.

The US takes the so-called “Gods own Country” label as a reason to dominate the world. The decline of USA, despite its stockpile of nuclear heads, that cannot be applied to kill the virus, is nothing new in history.  The desperation by the USA manifested in 9/11, where more than 3000 of its citizens, including other nationals, were killed by design under the Presidency of George Bush Jnr, all in a pretext to achieve the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.

These would appear like “privileged terrorists” with license to commit genocide against humanity and go free to eat their hotdog. The Indian Times reported that 75 professors have testified that 9/11 and the destruction of the World Trade Centre in New York, was “an inside job”. The engineers who built the towers dismissed it as a lie, as the temperature of the jet fuel just 800oC could never melt the supporting iron and the reinforcement which can only melt at twice more, like 2000oC.

No one could have done it, given the tight security in the USA, other than the government of George   ‘Bush.

If over 3,000 people were sacrificed to deceive gullible Americans and the rest of the world about a fairy tale that Muslims were involved, the “devils” in the “White House” could go to any lengths. In a Book written by Omar Zaid-The HAND of IBLIS-An Anatomy of Evil, he quotes some European leaders who branded 9/11 as a lie.

Today, the Zionists, who disobey UN resolutions but force others to comply, “privileged criminals”, if the truth be told, remain the real danger to humanity. Their motivation is greed to dominate the world’s economic resources. This Coronavirus pandemic scenario, to a mindset with bogus “superior race” agenda, would appear as one of the “take in cover” missiles, sent from behind closed doors by few selfish fools. Today, I do not know who would like to visit the Zionist- controlled US and Europe; especially the UK, Italy, France and Spain, even for free.
