The corpse of a man was found on Monday morning at Daki-Biyu community in Jabi District of the FCT.

A resident said, “He was murdered. He was beaten and strangled. The body has bruises all over his body.”

The source said not less than five residents of the area were arrested by the police from the Life Camp Division after conducting raids in the aftermath of the incident.

He further said, “My friend who is an Okada man was also arrested after the incident on Monday. Aside from my friend, not less than five persons were also arrested.”

The police spokesperson in the FCT, DSP Josephine Adeh, said she would get back to our reporter, but was yet to do so at the time of filing this report.
