The representative of Kaduna central district at the Senate, Shehu Sani, has condemned the description of Nigeria as either ‘fantastically’ or ‘massively’ corrupt when it is only a tiny few that are actually not clean with their activities.

Sani said this in a tweet on Friday, May 4, less than 24 hours after the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari from the United States of America and a stop-over in London.

President Donald Trump of the US had reportedly noted a ‘massive’ corruption in Nigeria while commending Buhari for the effort of his government to fight graft in the country.

“We are a nation of 180 million people. ‘Tiny Few’ are corrupt while millions are living their honest lives & we have never invaded & plunder other nations; yet we accepted to be called ‘fantastically’ or ‘massively’ corrupt country. Our fathers gave us names & now others do,” Sani lamented.
