Coscharis unveils its 2011 BMW 5 series and calls it ‘joy’

The President and CEO of Coscharis group, Dr Cosmas Maduka and the Director, Sales, Regional office; Africa, Caribbean and Eastern Europe BMW AG, Mr Peter Witt both gave speeches on the new product. Dr Madukas described the new 5 series as a “thorough athletic automobile”.  He assured the media that Coscharis would continue to provide the best premium cars to remain as the leading marketer of quality brand cars in this sector. Dr Maduka, who claimed to be a lover of the BMW brand, told the media that 5 series has always been its top selling model.

Mr. Peter Witt also told the media that BMW will, on a regular basis, continue to train Coscharis after sales workers and provide any additional assistance needed. The new 2011 BMW 5 series was then unveiled by the President and CEO of Coscharis Groups, Dr Cosmas Maduka.

One question asked was why the unveiling came late? In response, Dr Maduka said the showroom facility in Abuja was not ready due to logistics challenges. Mr Witt assured the media BMW was also working hard to make sure all their products are unveiled at the same period across the world including in Nigeria. Even at that, the new ultimate machine, perhaps, you can call it ‘joy’ is not only beautiful, but magnificent in all ramification.

The new 2011 BMW 5 series has come this time with some changes on the chassis and engine to provide efficient dynamics for its user. The Macpherson strut has been dumped for the double wishbone at the front and integral rear axle to give customers the expected BMW driving dynamics, while providing optimum comfort. An optional integral active steering at the front and rear; which turns the rear wheel either in the same or opposite way to the front wheels.  This option gives the 5 series agility in traffic condition and makes the handling much easier because the car is actually bigger. The petrol engines now come with turbo chargers unlike the normal aspirated engine.

Coscharis assured Nigerians that the 5 series will continue to deliver its driving dynamics with modern innovation.
