The Northern Youth Council (NYC) has demanded the confirmation of Professor Armaya’u Bichi as the substantive Vice chancellor of the Federal University Dutsinma (FUDMA).

Bichi has been acting as the vice chancellor since the suspension of substantive VC Professor Abdu Kaita five months ago over alleged financial wrongdoings.

The Council’s Publicity Secretary Comrade Yahaya Salisu said in a statement that Bichi had exhibited remarkable progresses through a purposeful leadership and commitment to duty. He said it would only be proper by the Federal Government and Governing Council of the university to ratify his appointment.
