A customary court in Ibadan has dissolved a marriage after the husband complained he was being starved of sex.

Taiwo Okunola told the court he could no longer tolerate his wife Sherifat starving him of sex and threatening to kill him.

 “In the interest of peaceful co-existence, the union between the couple has ceased to be from henceforth,” the court said, citing irreconcilable differences.

Sherifat gets custody of the couple’s three-year-old child, but Taiwo will pay N3,000 in monthly feeding allowance and be responsible for his education and health needs.
