The NSCDC spokesperson in the state, SC Daniel Aidamenbor, disclosed in a statement that the offences were committed on March 3 and April 14, 2026.

He said the court ordered the remand of the suspects after establishing a prima facie case against them.

“Following the conclusion of investigations, the suspects were charged to court. After reviewing the evidence, the court ordered their remand in a correctional facility pending further proceedings,” he said.

The cases have been adjourned to May 5 and May 21, 2026, respectively.
