A Chief Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of five suspects in a correctional facility over an alleged murder.

The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court there was probable cause to remand the suspects, who are reasonably suspected of murdering one Oluwaseun Isaac Emeka. The suspects are Ademola Temitope (20), Obaleye Kayode (50), James Oluwafemi (40), Jamiu Idris (21), and Ochim Godwin (23).

The prosecutor requested the court to grant his prayers, adding that the original case file had been sent to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice. The defendants were represented by Barrister Stephen Ademuwagun, B. T. Oluwatosin, and J. S. Balogun. Chief Magistrate Mr. Abayomi Adeosun ordered that the defendants be remanded in a correctional facility in Ado-Ekiti pending legal advice from the DPP.
