Court remands 57-year-old man for allegedly defiling 12-year-old girl

A magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun State, yesterday remanded a 57-year-old man, Moses Oloko, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl at Oke-Mission area, Ejigbo.

The police prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent Adegoke Taiwo, told the court that Oloko committed the offence on May 25, 2020 at about 10.30am.

Taiwo alleged that the defendant assaulted the minor and sexually exploited her more than 10 times.

He added that Oloko lured the girl with N100 each time he wanted to have sex with her.

The court did not take the plea of the accused person.

The magistrate, Mrs Riskat Olayemi, remanded him in police custody and transferred the case to the Ejigbo magistrate court.
