A magistrate court in Ilorin has ordered the remand of one Ibrahim Mohammed for allegedly killing his kinsman.
The accused was said to have committed the offence on February 20, 2021.
According to the Police First Information Report (FIR), Mohammed conspired to attack his victim, one Usman Abubakar, who was on his way to a wedding ceremony in Gweria community of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The charged sheet added that his red Bajaj motorcycle was taken away.
Mohammed was arraigned on charges of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and culpable homicide contrary to sections 6(B) and 1(2) of the Robbery and Firearms Act (Special Provision) Cap R11 Law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2004 and 221 of the Penal Code Law.
Police Prosecutor Insp Sekunda Olayide urged the court to remand the accused.
The magistrate, Olukoyo F. O. remanded the accused and adjourned the case to April, 21, 2021 for mention.
