A magistrates’ court in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of a 30-year-old man, Iwaetan Segunin, over rape and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The Prosecutor, Inspector Bamikole Olasunkanmi, told the court yesterday that the suspect raped a 20-year-old lady and was in possession of a firearm.

The Magistrate, Mrs Modupe Oshundina, ordered the remand of the suspect and adjourned the case to March 31, 2021.
