A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has ordered the remand of twin brothers, Olawuyi Taye and Olawuyi Kehinde, over an alleged conspiracy and attempt to murder.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, said they were suspected to have committed an offence of conspiracy and attempt to murder one Rev. (Dr.) Ajayi Samuel.

The prosecutor added that the offence was punishable under Sections 421 and 246 of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
Counsel to the defendants, Barrister F. O. Falade, sought for their bail but Chief Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun, ordered their remand for 22 days at a correctional centre and adjourned the case till June 6 for mention.
