A Lagos State High Court in Igbosere has summoned two property developers to appear before it and explain why they should not be committed to prison for allegedly disobeying subsisting court order barring them from ejecting over 200 traders from the Taiwo Olowo Plaza located at Taiwo Olowo Street, Mandilas, Lagos Island.
 The traders had last October sued the property developers, Alhaji Ismail Olawuyi and Alhaji Akeem Olawuyi, as well as their companies; Ola-Yim Construction Company Limited and Dapo-Ola Investment Limited, over plans to eject them from the plaza.
 Justice W. Animahun had then made a restraining order that parties in the suit should maintain status quo until the determination of the substantive suit.
 Counsel to the traders, Eric Igweokolo, however alleged that on January 14, 2016, his clients were forcefully ejected by the property developers who allegedly used officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency to seal the plaza. 
 He therefore filed an ex-parte motion pursuant to order 39 rules 39(2) of the High Court of Lagos State.
 Justice Animahun granted the ex-parte motion and ordered the respondents to immediately unseal the said property, adding that the respondents should not further tamper with the said property.
