The Coordinator, Ogun State Operations Coordinating Unit (Ogun SOCU), Tunde Adebiyi, has said the unit targets registration of at least 40,000 small business owners, petty traders, low wage employees and artisans, as part of the ongoing registration for COVID-19 cash transfer social intervention programme of the federal government.
As of last Tuesday, Adebiyi said 7,000 had been captured in the register across the state.
Adebiyi who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, said the beneficiaries would get N5,000 support each for six months to augment their business capital.
