The Lagos State Government has disclosed that it is developing an emergency digital response platform that will help collect data necessary for informed decision making.
Governor Babajide O. Sanwo-Olu, at the weekend pointed out that the innovation is aimed at ensuring that all the right data are collected and used to plan and revise response as a State.
“While we will continue to pay attention to the stories and experiences being shared in other places, I would like to assure you that the data we gather, and the safety of all of you, the good people of Lagos, will continue to be the prime determinants of our decision-making,” he said.
According to him, data is very critical for states and the nation to enable governments account for its people and serve them better; noting that, no nation can maximize its full potential swithout data.
