PAN Learning Centre (PLC), a subsidiary of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Limited, has donated 100 bags of beans to Kano State government to share among the less privileged persons.
Presenting the commodity to the government, the representative of the centre, Malam Nasir Ja’afaru Musa, said the donation followed a directive by the Director General of the centre, Mrs. Elizabeth Mordi.
Musa said the gesture was part of the palliative measures initiated by the centre to cushion the hardship being experienced by Nigerians as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the centre had a strong tie with Kano State government for almost half a decade and it deemed it necessary to support the state especially during this trying moment.
Receiving the items on behalf of the government, the Special Adviser on Automobile to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Engineer Idris Hassan, thanked the company, saying the state had worked with the centre to train its youths on modern automobile repair and maintenance.
