The federal government has resolved to use radio and television in teaching and learning during the COVID-19 lockdown.
A statement issued by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Education, Bem Ben Goong, said a committee to work towards the realization of ‘this objective’ would be named in the ‘coming days’ by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
It said, “Plans are underway to kick start radio and television educational broadcasts in the country to bridge the gap created by the closure of schools at all levels” because it is uncertain when the lockdown would end.
