The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has lamented that state governments are not helping in the sensitization campaign against the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

While briefing Journalists in Abuja on the Agency’s report and observation during its nationwide sensitization programme, the NOA Director-General, Dr Garba Abari said the country can only defeat the Coronavirus pandemic if all Nigerians supported the restriction orders of the federal government.

Dr Abari who said despite reaching all the 36 states of the federation, including the FCT in its campaigns, the agency observed that Nigerians are not observing the restriction orders diligently.

He stressed the need to maintain good health hygiene and appealed to state governments to support the Agency’s sensitization and advocacy campaign against COVID-19.
