The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mamman Giwa, has pledged his commitment to professional, proactive, people-friendly and results-based policing in the state.
The commissioner made the pledge while receiving the chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Area, Dr. Vita Ndu, and a delegation of retired security chiefs under the aegis of Eche Obodo Security Group of Enugu North Senatorial Zone.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, in a statement in Enugu, said the state police boss received the visitors on Saturday in his office.
The commissioner expressed gratitude for the recognition and support by the people of the state to the police, which, he said, had ensured optimal performance. (NAN)
