No fewer than 100 civil society groups have passed a vote of confidence on the Director General of the Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office (NMCO), Engr. Obadiah Simon Nkom.

The groups, under the aegis of the Nigeria Civil Rights Movement, said Nkom had effectively and efficiently aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

At a press conference on Monday in Abuja, the convener of the group, Nwogu Ndubisi, said the DG had made a significant impact at the NMCO – particularly in the implementation of a modern and efficient cadastral system.

Ndubisi added that the NMCO DG has also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to ethical practices and good governance.

He said: “Today, we stand here united as a collective voice of the Nigeria Civil Rights Movement, to express our profound appreciation and admiration for the Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office (NMCO) and its exceptional alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
