Civil Society Organisations and the media in Osun State have teamed up with NULGE on the agitation for the autonomy for local governments in the ongoing amendment of the 1999 constitution.

Addressing a press conference under the auspices of Osun Coalition for Actualisation of Local Government Autonomy, the team urged the state House of Assembly to vote for local government Autonomy.

The National Vice President of NULGE, South West, Comrade Oludare Famoofo highlighted progress in the agitation for the local government Autonomy and urged all stakeholders to come together to ensure the passage of the bill.
