Suspected cultists have killed the son of the Olofa of Ofatedo in Osun State, Oba Okunloye Abdullahi, Prince Yunus Abdullahi.

The 43-year-old prince was shot in the chest in his house at Ofatedo which led to his death.

The killing resulted to a protest by youths which caused panic in the community, but the situation was brought under control by the police and community leaders.

The police spokesman in the state, Yemisi Opalola, said the police were on the trail of the suspected cultists.
