The minister, who said Nigeria is in a season of transformation, enjoined staff of the ministry to show appropriate loyalty and commitment to the vision of President Goodluck Jonathan who is passionate about changing the face of Nigeria for good.  He said the lofty programmes under the transformation agenda will be achieved if those responsible for executing them have and maintain good working relationships.

While welcoming the new Permanent Secretary, Chief Duke promised to work closely with her to achieve the mandate of the ministry.

Responding, the new  Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Anasthasia Daniel Nwaobia, said she has come to the ministry with an open mind and enjoined staff of the Ministry to be frank and objective in the discharge of their duties.
