Customs arrests 7 smugglers, impounds 45 cars

Operatives of the Nigeria Customs Services (NCS), Seme Command, have arrested seven suspected smugglers and impounded about 45 vehicles.

The Customs Area Controller in charge of Seme Command, Mohammed Uba Garba, made the disclosure on Tuesday while conducting journalists round the customs warehouse.

He said though two of the suspects have been granted administrative bail, others would soon be charged to court.

He added that 15 of the vehicles were compounded while being smuggled into the country.
