The match which comes up 2.30pm Nigerian time is a must win match as anything less than a win would see the chances of the team qualifying for the Nations Cup slip away.

Speaking to Feverpitch yesterday, former international Garba Lawal said the Eagles are condemned to win the match.

He said there should be no excuses as anything other than outright victory would be good enough.

Lawal said with or without injuries, the day of decision has come and the Eagles must rise to the occasion.

“In my days, I liked playing under pressure. Eagles are going to face a tough battle in Madagascar but they should know what to do.

“Whether there are injury problems or not, Nigerians want victory and that is what the Eagles should have at the back of their minds as they take to the field today”.
