Chairman of Niger Tornadoes, Engineer Ibrahim Dada, has urged players of the club to maintain total focus and discipline as the 2025/2026 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) enters its second round.

Engr. Dada gave the charge ahead of Tornadoes’ Week 20 NPFL fixture against Barau FC in Kano, which marks the beginning of a challenging run of away matches for the “Ikon Allah Boys.”

The midweek away encounter will be followed by another away clash against Nasarawa United in Lafia before the team returns home.

According to the statement released by the media department of Tornadoes, the chairman who welcomed the players back from the mid-season break reminded them of the club’s objective for the season — securing a continental ticket.

“I welcome you back from a well-deserved half-season break. As we resume for the second stanza, it is time to continue from where we stopped in the first round,” Engr. Dada said.

He emphasized the importance of sustained concentration, discipline, and increased effort, stressing that achieving the club’s target would require commitment from every member of the squad.

To boost their morale, he also rewarded the players with a sum of ₦500,000 as an end-of-year appreciation gesture.

Tornadoes face four crucial fixtures in January, starting with the away tie against Barau FC, followed by another road trip to Lafia to face Nasarawa United.

The team will then host Enyimba FC at home before concluding the month with an away match against Bayelsa United in Yenagoa.
