Daily Trust Newspapers has received an award for peace promotion in Plateau State.
The award was presented at the 2021 Arts Exhibition/Celebration of the International Day of Peace to promote cultural and religious pluralism in Plateau State.

The event which had the theme: “Zaman Tare” (living together) was organised by the Dialogue, Reconciliation and Peace (DREP) Centre in Jos.
The Zaman Tare project is funded by the European Union (EU), while the co-founder is the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD).
Presenting the award, the Country Representative of CAFOD, Kelechi Emeh, said the award was well deserved and that anything done to promote peace was a welcome and veritable contribution to growth and progress.
In his remarks, DREP Director, Rev Fr Blaise Agwom, said the award should be geared towards greater effort, adding that the organisations had been consistent in the coverage of peace programmes, initiatives and activities.
