An editorial staff member of Media Trust Limited (publisher of Daily Trust and its titles), Adam Umar, has lost his mother, Hajiya Maryam Dahiru.
A family statement said Hajiya Maryam died on Friday at the age of 79.
She was said to be performing ablution in readiness for Muslim’s set prayer when she suddenly collapsed and died.
Hajiya Maryam was buried yesterday.
She is survived by five other children; among them include Malam Usman Umar and Alhaji Auwal Ibrahim as well as many grandchildren
