Daily Trust Newspaper, Abuja, was named the ‘Newspaper of the Year’ by the West African Students Union of Islamic University, Mbale, Uganda.
The prize was given at the first Islamic University West African Students Union (IUWASU) award and magazine launch on April 16th in recognition of the Newspaper’s effort in education and youth reportage. Also, Deputy Manager, Production (Editorial) Hussaini Garba Mohammad received the ‘International Youth Advocator of the Year’ award.
