It would be recalled that the road was damaged by flood in 2010, a situation that forced the management to close the school for months before the Sokoto State Government rehabilitated the road.
Daily Trust also gathered the contract for the renovation of the road was awarded to Mother Cat Limited by the federal government about two years ago.
When this reporter visited the site, it was discovered that the construction company has stopped work months ago over unpaid money.
It was further observed that the management of the institution has stationed a security man at the damaged bridge to control the movement of vehicles.
The Dean, Student Affairs, Dr. Adamu Aliero, said the students were at risk, calling on the federal government to complete the renovation work.
When contacted, the state Controller, Federal Ministry of Works, Engineer E. O. Daramola, said as a civil servant he was not authorised to speak to the press without clearance from his bosses.
