Dr Musa Rabi’u has been appointed as Dangote Cement Plcs Group Head, Human Assets Management and Administration.

A statement by the Group Managing Director / CEO of Dangote Cement Plc  Onne der Weijde  stated that  Rabi’u joined the organization on 1st March 2017 and will report to the GMD/ CEO of Dangote Cement Plc.

The statement  said  Dr Rabi’u is a strategic management professional with over 30 years experience, and  brings with him, a wealth of experience he acquired while working for a number of leading companies in the country including the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),where he was until his recent appointment,  the Group HR consultant (contract).

He also worked for Shell Petroleum Development company between 1990 and 2008, in various capacities including Regional Learning and Leadership  Development Adviser,  Head of Corporate Learning and Development;  Corporate Remuneration and Benefits Adviser; and Personnel Planner and Corporate HR Policy Adviser.

He was also Registrar/CEO Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) between 2008 and 2010.

 

Rabi’u  holds a BSc. in Economics (1985), an Msc. in Economics, both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) obtained from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom (2015). 

 

He has participated in several local and overseas professional development  programmes spanning over 30 years.
