The Nigerian Navy has emphasized the importance of collective security efforts in protecting the Dangote Refinery, located in Lekki, Lagos State.
According to the Navy, the refinery is a critical national strategic asset that requires robust security measures to prevent potential threats.
Rear Admiral Abubakar Abdullahi Mustapha, Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command, made the call during a curtsey visit to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the President and Chief Executive of the Dangote Group, at the Group’s corporate headquarters in Lagos.
The visit was part of the Nigerian Navy’s ongoing efforts to build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the nation’s maritime sector and to enhance cooperation in safeguarding Nigeria’s maritime environment.
