He made this known at a formal presentation of newly appointed special assistants to the governor attached to his office. He said that the business man had been contacted and had shown interest in the project but, probably because of his commitment was yet to respond as to the date of the launch.

The special adviser also explained that the Quranic college project to be established would cater for advanced reciters and scholars of Quran (Alaramma) to enable them obtain an equivalent of a secondary school certificate. He lamented that begging was seen as the practice of Qur’anic scholars, saying it had no basis in the religion and that his office would begin a tour of the local governments in the state to meet with district heads and village heads on how to address the issue.

He said during their tour they would meet with chairmen of the local governments whom they hoped would assist in the campaign for the upliftment of the tsangaya education.

I n his remarks, one of the newly appointed assistants Malam Nura Adam Galadanchi said they had accepted to serve the office  considering the importance of education ,be it the western or the Islamic form.
