Dankwambo condemns Police invasion of Saraki, Ekweremadu’s residences

The Executive Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Hassan Ibrahim Dankwambo has condemned the recent siege on houses of Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu by security operatives.

His reactions comes hours after Policemen on Tuesday morning blocked the convoy of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki at Lake Chad Junction, Maitama.

Abuja. Governor Dankwambo in a tweet on tuesday described the development as "tyranny" stressing that the National Assembly Should be accorded due respect.

"I condemn in its entirety the siege on the houses of the Principal Officers of the National Assembly by officers and men of the Nigerian Police. The National Assembly as an arm of the government must be accorded the due respect that it deserves. This is tyranny!" He noted.
