Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe State has approved the posting of the four newly appointed permanent secretaries and redeployed five others in a minor reshuffle in the state civil service.
A press statement issued on Tuesday by the Information Officer, office of the state Head of Civil Service, Yakubu Mamman, gave the names and portfolio of the new appointees as; Hamidu Muhammad Hussaini posted to the Establishment and Service Matters department, Muhammad Manu Malala, posted to the Ministry of Trade and Investment, Muhammad Sani Yidi posted to Ministry of Women Affairs, Ahmad Muhammad Abubakar posted to the Ministry for Youth Empowerment.
While those reshuffled are; Adamu Musa Kumo, moved from Trade and Industry to Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs; Remos A. Kabiny moved from Science and Technology to Culture and Tourism, Bala Mohammed Kaltungo from Culture and Tourism to Science and Technology, Bappayo Yahaya from Animal Husbandry and Nomadic Affairs to Ministry of Cooperatives and Umar B. Abubakar from Ministry of Cooperatives to the Animal Husbandry and Nomadic affairs.
According to the statement, all the handover and taking over formalities should be completed on or before August 7, 2018.
