Engr. Nasiru Dantata, Executive Director of the company, told Daily Trust that “within the next one month we will be rolling out the Phase 2 which is in the same area, about 50 hectares.”
“We started developing the Phase I estate two years ago…which consists of 30 hectares. We had a challenge there because the railway happened to cross along the estate. Also, the Federal Ministry of Transport has designed a railway station within the estate so we had slow take off.”
Dantata added that the challenges had been surmounted, and that the estate was now being readied for home owners.
“What we’re doing now is the infrastructure, the road works up to stone base and asphalt. The rains have delayed us a bit,” he said. “The drainage is almost completed. We have connected our pipeline and we’re connected to the grid in Kubwa. The NIPP was going to build a substation in Kubwa so we provided them land. They will soon finish it.”
